Description
I'm selling my collection of Maxwell House Coffee Advertising from the early 1920's to the early 1930's.This was a time during the "Great Depression," those who were able to purchase beyond the basics were
considered the aristocrats of society; Marketing the commodity of COFFEE showed favor to an elite group.
Socially, it was also the "roaring '20s"; where much more than coffee was consumed by the effluent,
- Women were drugged with cocaine (the beverage Coke ((Coke-Cola)) had cocaine in it).
Along with the use of alcohol, Coffee, too, was encouraged and used as a means to become sober.
- The politics of the "deep south" states were exemplified socially with the aristocrats having servants - blacks and whites.
During this time Maxwell House Coffee uses these common threads to market coffee.
I am now making all that I have saved over the years to be available to the E-bay market.
